First Friends....

This week our friends Ali and Rupert visited with their boys, Lars and Wil.  Noah visited with his first friends when he was just a few weeks old. You can see how in one year they are all big boys now! I just love the faces they are making  for the camera, and the red eye makes it more special!

Hard day...

It has been a rough week for Noah and Garrett. After my surgery last week I have been unable to lift Noah. Like a trooper Noah went to daycare 4 days in a row!

Fall at Yosemite

Oh how we miss the fall. Living in Cali has it advantages of course but nothing beats the feeling of the cool crisp air and dry leaves crunching below your feet.  To recature this feeling we took a trip to Yosemite. We visited Mariposa Grove, home of the giant Sequoias and hiked around the valley and enjoyed the many vistas. Noah was a trooper with the altitude. He drank a bottle an hour but napped on schedule! We had a nice time.

The last of Halloween.... long week!

Believe it or not, it has been years since we have carved a pumpkin. I suppose it was to avoid the mess and also because pumpkins will last til spring out here if you don't carve them. Well we started our carving tradition with the pumpkin Noah chose at the patch. I asked him to stick his hand in and feel the guts - he promptly shook his head no.

Somehow he knew that he was supposed to carry the pumpkin. But of course against our wishes he had to carry the bottle of milk too. He kept his paws on the whole time. He had a blast checking out what was dropped into his bucket, including trying to get is bottle back out. Of course I dressed up as the princess but in this story the dragon saved me!
