Garrett ran the first annual Half Moon Bay (our town) Marathon this past Sunday. This was a huge milestone for Garrett. He had not run a thon in many years and with all the demands on his time was able to accomplish his goal. He started running after Frances was born. He are some of my favortite shots from the day, which started at 6:30am. he did sucha great job!

Yard fun!
I grew potatoes and tomatoes!
Friends of ours gave us a playstructure they no longer needed. With some new wood and a few cuts and some new paint it is like new! Now we hav ethe kids contained in our back yard fenced in and safer!

Summer garden...
My garden is hanging on until the Fall sun and warmth comes our way. I am hoping the tomato flowers make it. We should have pumpkins and sunflowers in time for October. Next year we will expand my small box garden to many raised organic beds. I have promised Noah his own strawberry patch. Fodd is extra sweet when you grow it yourself. I only hope the next house has a bigger yard and I will grow everything!

Summer Vacation
Our summer fun began in Half Moon Bay just a few blocks from our house. We are very lucky to live so close to the ocean.

Our next adventure took us to Yosemite Mariposa Forest home of giant redwoods and sequoias. I managed to get a shot of Francis once the area cleared. But I got a lot of strange looks for plopping my 7 month old on the rocky ground. I admit she almost ate a rock but my finger sweep saved the day. We also got to ride a steam train through a sugar pine forest. Noah just can't get enough of trains.

Then we headed to Bass Lake. A gorgeous clear lake nestled in the pines south of Yosemite. We swam the days away. We rented what Noah refers as the "house hotel" BBQ'd, fished and rented a boat and swam in the lake.
