1st Birthday Party continued....

We had a party with Noah's friends from school, church and mother's club playmates. Noah's Ark was the theme. It was so great to spend time with our friends and get to see Noah play with his friends of all ages. It was a good day.

August 5, 2009 Noah's 1st Birthday started with a birthday breakfast and then a party with his friends and teachers at school to share some cupcakes. Noah ate up the attention, laughing and clapping when sang to and even showed off by eating his cupcake with no hands. What fun to watch my little boy interact. Just before the cupcake was served he got up form his mini chair and went over to the mini sink and went to wash his hands. Such a good boy. We need to do this at home too!

A bit early.....

This weekend we picked up Noah's kitchen. There truly is something to be said for good old quality construction of simple toys. I have been careful when choosing toys and avoiding many toxic items as I can. For about3 months I have been looking at wood kitchens. There are so many fun and bright choices. I fell in love with this company who makes wooden kitchens - http://www.kidbean.com/elvesandangels. Lucky for us there is a store in Palo Alto that sells all wood toys so no shipping fees! The craftmenship is gorgeous, it has no sharp edges and is completely smooth. Noah just loves it. Needless to say this was a birthday gift but we could not wait, so here he is cooking us up some dinner!
