A review of each babe.....

I made Teddy new PJs. As soon as I presented him with Teddy's new clothes he said he needs playclothes. These are his morning clothes.
Forts - I think I better get used to this.
Our project last week was Gak. I was concerned about using Borax detergent b/c of toxicity. So instead mixed cornstarch and water. This was really cool. Solid then liquid in your hands. The mom blogs said their kids wre occupied for 2 hours and I didn't believe it. But Noah couldn't get enough of this stuff. We changes the color and he was relaxed and focused. Note: do not put this down your sink. I scooped it into a platic bag and saved it.

Stay at home day.

Today is Thursday. The day after my 2 days of work. I have a ton of charting to do and will have to stay up all night to get it done. But today is for fun and rest. The kids are tired from their 2 long days. So today we had a stay at home day. The morning started with PJs and books and Seseame Street. Then much more after!!!!

After weeks of bookmarking favorite toddler dress making sites. Then watching endless YouTube videos so I could teach myself techniques like french seams, using bias tape and cutting even lines I actually made something!!!!!! Frances first mommy made dress. I follow some great sewing blogs and found 3 sites for fabric but have been too afraid to buy anything for fear I would not actually do the project and then waste money. So I rummaged through my craft stuff and found some old fabric from years ago and took the plunge. I did not have coordinating fabric so I used bias tape on the bottom hem and gross grain ribbon for the top. I am so inspired not to make more and feel confident I could do the different versions.
While Frances napped we did our prject of the day. Painting hot rocks with crayons. Noah really liked it to my suprise. He is typically pensive about getting hurt - but he only burned his finger twice and brushed it off quickly and realized he needed to use long crayons.
 The result.
We messed the playroom badly.
We dressed up and then paraded around the neighborhood.
A fine day I say.

Days go by

 and we have smoothie mustashes
and I get to use mymuch anticipated fancy blender. I had the same $20 blender since college. Then it started to smoke. After a few months of envying my neighbors Warin Pro, I finally coughed up the money to buy one. Justifying it by the extremely expensive Jamba Juice purchases of days past. This thing is not only the coolest color it works great!!!
and my waist line grows..... and oh yes it is a boy!!!! Now I need another girl :)
and we go to the zoo, California Academy of Sciences. A smart thing is my friends have free guest passes tot he zoo and I for the Cal Academy so it works great.
and the kids have good old morning playin their PJs Frances seems to thing Noah is a mountain.

For the summer I have some great goals, sew Frances some dresses, reconfigure the nursery to fit 3 kids, clear out the guest closet for the kids. Read the scriptures daily, go to the temple before my dress doesn't fit anymore, and get away with my husband before babysitting becomes even more expensive!!!!
